Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Lasse G — 28 Mar 2016
Marc Webb is a very talented director, but he should have kept his hands off Spider-Man. This is a reboot that I think failed on several levels. The movie creates a new story about why Peter's parents actually disappeared and it reallyt fails, because it's just slowly set up in the beginning and then it's just being dragged out during the movie.
The villain was completely unbelievable and I his motivation wasn't really there. The chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, however, are incredible and that is probably because they dated in the real-life when they were filming the movie.
There are a few believable scenes in the movie, but there are many things in this movie truly SUCKS.
