Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Kainoah A — 26 May 2016
In 2002 evil dead director Sam Raimi blew away the box office and won critics hearts with spiderman. Ten years later a new spiderman movie comes out and it's.....mediocre, I hear its more faithful to the comic books but if I were to choose between making the adaptation faithful and making a good movie id choose the ladder.
Andrew Garfield makes for poor casting as a pretty boy spiderman whos allways making jokes that are seldom funny and a poor unfleshed out lizard with a ludacris evil plan. the movie wasnt a total disaster Gwen Stacy was a huge improvement over Mary Jane and the action and visuals were servicable.
Alot of people like this movie and thats ok, its just not for me.
