Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Jordan J — 17 Jul 2017
This movie was actually pretty good. I don't think it's "Amazing" as it says in the title but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to enjoy in this movie. The plot is really familiar and has a lot of backstory but it isn't too much like the sequel.
You could still focus on the movie itself instead of having too many plots. I kind of liked Andrew Garfield as Spider-man but he wasn't really Peter Parker. He seemed too cool to be a nerd. Andrew was cool as Spider-man though.
I also liked Andrew and Emma's chemistry. They had good chemistry. But that also sort of brings a little problem to the movie. The romance. Now I kind of like it but it can be distracting from the story.
Overall I'd say that this was a pretty good remake. It isn't as good as the other movies with Tobey but this movie does bring some new things and is still likable. B+.
