Review of Spice World (1997) by Becca G — 28 Nov 2008
Living proof that I'm ot uptight, is the fact that I enjoyed this movies. Look, it really has no intellegence, no originality, no real plot, acting is meh at best, but the movie is something I just like to turn my brain off and enjoy.
Fact is, I was a HUGE Spice Girls fan back in the day. Weird, because I didn't like much of the "poppy" kind of music, but for some reason I liked them. Maybe it's beacause I thought hey were hot. But either way, I still enjoy listening to there stuff today!
I'm soley reccomending this to Spice Girls fans, and Spice Girls FANS only! It's just the girls getting involved in a random series of events, leading up to there first big concert at Royal Albert Hall. I laughed merely because, the thought of these big time celebs getting in these situations, and plus the fact that they play up to theer stereotypes all the time, (which is actually acknowledged). I just found it funny.
Not laught out loud funny or anything like that, merely just funny.
Sometimes there's the dd movie I can turn my brain off for. This is one of them.
I tried doing that for "Sweet November", I still hated it.
