I can't believe the book could be as uninteresting as this film adaptation. Despite a great cast, the script and direction leave a lot to be desired with little tension to be had and a woeful ending.
Non-plussed the first time I watched it and that opinion as not changed on watching it again - a mistake I am unlikely to make for a third time.
