Review of Sphere (1998) by Emil K — 06 Aug 2008
This one has some similarities with Sci-Fi-film Event Horizon, but where that film concentrated on horror, this one keeps its focus on psychological elements. This is very nice film to look at times and the score by Elliot Goldenthal is a treat.
Acting job by Stone, Hoffman and Jackson is also solid. Quite captivating stuff overall, but a bit silly at times.
