Ive never read the book, but this is a very cool movie. totally crazy, and I want to read the bok and im sure that it can be made much better. but like I said, I havent read the book, but the movies story themes, the look, special effects and most of the acting was great.
and I totally agree, just like in the movie contact, humanity isn't remotely ready for contact with an intelligent life form from another world. if you believe that life exists some where else, you would certainly agree.
