Review of Spellbound (2002) by Courtney B — 03 Nov 2008
I loved this for many reasons, one of which is that one of the girls is from ambler, pa, my hometown! I watched this after a conversation with a woman who said that watching it and watching the resolve and discipline that these kids muster for their spelling and studies, she found herself wishing she, too, could commit so strongly to whatever she applied herself to.
it is an inspirational film. I recommend it to anyone who deals with kids or who was ever an overachiever.
