Review of Speedway (1968) by Kevin R — 10 May 2008
A few rockin' numbers (mostly taking place in the local dance hall, which acts as a marvelous portal into the swingin' sixties) and young Bill Bixby as a self-obsessed and shifty manager are the highlights of this'un, another Elvis racing pic.
But unlike VIVA LAS VEGAS, which took full advantage of leading lady Ann Margaret, Nancy Sinatra's pipes are criminally underused here. Still...fun.
