Dazzling visuals, revolutionary transition techniques, and a phenomenal ending. I only had one problem, character attachment. I had a really tough time engaging in a parasocial relationship with any of the roles.
Perhaps because I didn't really grow up with a lot of Speed in my diet, or because there wasn't enough character development, I don't know. But at the end of the day, I didn't really care about them.
The emotional scenes between the characters seemed to drag and I squirmed in anticipation of the next action sequence. Still a decent flick, though.
