Review of Speed Racer (2008) by Eric R — 16 Apr 2011
The most remarkable part of the movie is it's style. It feels like some sort of cross between Dick Tracy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Sin City. A fun blend of live action and animation with a comic book feel to the dialog.
The movie itself was good, not great, and the whole surprise about the fate of Rex was so obvious. But an enjoyable two hours.
