Review of Speed Racer (2008) by Caleb H — 10 Apr 2012
Like a live action cartoon, bloated to feature length, Speed Racer careens along with little plot, lots of noise, and some of the silliest racing scenes ever put to film. For entertainment aimed squarely at children, it's flashy and fun.
Adults should probably steer clear, unless (like me) the concept of a living cartoon sounds like a fun way to spend a couple hours.
