Review of Speed Racer (2008) by Octavio M — 04 Apr 2013
Speed Racer, to me, is one of the most cherished and iconic characters in the history of animation. The reason that I gave this film three stars was its story, underdeveloped in a few places, but a good story nonetheless.
What brought the film down was the nauseating visuals that felt like the audience was going through an acid trip en masse. The Brothers should have waited a few more years for the technology advance.
