I don't get it? Why the bad rant? I mean, sure the plot was rather jumpy, but isn't that what comedy supposed to be? The CG wasn't that bad (well, yes, wasn't that good either), the character development from the original story was rather short and progressive, I mean what else would you expect from a "Speed Racer"? Aside from the dull original character, this movie showed a lot of interesting tiny surprises.
