Speed Racer is a film with a wide array of intruiging visuals and an interesting style. The problem however that this film faces is when the visuals become the only intruiging part of the film. This film ends up as an example of style over substance.
It may interest some kids, if they aren't confused by the visuals. But not so for the older viewers.
