Review of Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) by Matilda O — 01 May 2010

I have to say it had me for a while coming off the heals of the original in my double feature Sunday. Then the whole unstoppable cruise ship started to get to me then I reflected back on the title and the cheese stated to form and coagulate.

It has a good and underutilized cast with a poor script. I did like the final explosion, but it seemed very unlikely. This could have been a series that kept going and going like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon, but alas one bad script will put the breaks on even the biggest vehicle.
