The sequel to the hit movie falls short in many things. The action and thrills just do not live up to the first and the script was horribly written. Even with the return of Sandra Bullock as Annie Porter does not push the sequel to better heights.
With Jason Patric replacing Keanu Reeves as the main hero, Speed 2 - Cruise Control is a slowpoke movie that has nothing to do with speed completely but a rather unexciting sequel that is nothing but a yawner.
