Review of Speed (1994) by Hannah H — 13 Jul 2012
Once you get around the Keanu Reeves 'one expression for every emotion' thing, which is pretty hard to do in every movie he's been in besides The Matrix, you'll see that this movie is just kind of blah.
When it isn't blah, it's just a little bit farfetched. I would really, really love to see a bus jump a gaping hole in a highway overpass in real life. Except no I wouldn't, because it wouldn't make it, everyone would die, and I would be traumatized for the rest of my life.
