Review of Speed (1994) by Joshua P — 24 Jan 2013
From the opening credits to the ending credits, Speed is a relentless thriller. It's simplistic style and constant chance of oncoming danger and possibility of life loss, it easily can cause one to be gripping the nearest object in anticipation.
Speed has it's flaws no doubt, but the film's twists and turns easily overlook them. The pairing of Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper as hero and villain respectively is almost perfect. Speed at it's time was an excellent film and it still is to this date.
