Review of Speed (1994) by Tyler S — 08 Aug 2014
20 years later this movie has became a classic. It was a suspenseful thrill ride that really introduced us to both Reeves and Bullock. The Mad man Hopper is vicious and relentless and only cares about what is owed to him.
The plot was simple but yet so suspenseful at the time. Bomb on bus, bomb armed when bus hits 50...dips back below 50 it explodes. What is great is the obstacles the bus comes upon without being able to stop.
It really is excellent entertainment throughout the film, and Hopper just amps it up.
