Review of Spectre (2015) by James L — 20 Sep 2017
I was happy to finally get around to checking this one out and was left with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately. There's just another round of the 'Bond is obsolete in today's modern spy game' kind of rhetoric that I feel as if we've been hearing since the first Daniel Craig version, and I'm wishing they;d change the record, y'know?
The film was merely 'okay', when the other Craig outings have all felt VERY solid to me, so this ended up a let-down overall.
Perhaps it will grow on me in the future, but for now, I'd honestly say it's just worth a rental.
