Review of Spectre (2015) by Keegan K — 24 Apr 2016
So the latest installment of James Bond was basically a roller coaster. I hated the opening sequence in Mexico because it was drawn out. I hated the opening title sequence because it was not as creative as other James Bond title sequences and I hated the opening song.
The first third of the movie was boring. It was like all the life from James Bond have been sucked out! No funny jokes or the endearing qualities of the older movies; just not the same. But I love the last two thirds of the movie! It was a very intense thriller, very dark, I love the bad guy, I like the whole premise, and honestly I really like how James Bond and that girl fell for each other.
James is always that dark secluded character that loves his job but he will never fall in love with a girl. So I love to how they show that Darkside of James but I also like how at the end he chose the girl.
Very cool. I also appreciate how the stunts in action is not too over-the-top, but it's fairly simple and just that James Bond style where it's just enough and really cool.
