Review of Spectre (2015) by Josh R — 08 Jul 2016
As a follow up to Skyfall, Spectre feels like a different film. It's what I like to call a really "bond-y" movie. What I mean by that is it's a bond movie that spends much more time on its over the top action thrills than the character arcs and raw storyline. It feels like a film with an old school bond type of script. I'm not really sure if that's necessarily a bad thing or not because I still had a really good time watching this movie. No it's definitely not as good as Skyfall, but I still think it's a fun and enjoyable bond film. So if you're a big 007 fan, I can assure you that you won't leave disappointed.
Grade: B+.
