Review of Spectre (2015) by Jayakrishnan R — 07 Sep 2016

Saw this on 8/9/16.
It's evident that Daniel Craig and Sam Mendez are critics favourites, that's why crappy films like this and Quantum of Solace are spared of ridicule. Spectre is one of the most formulaic bond films I've ever seen with a paper thin script and a blatant nature towards it. Want to realise how bad this is? Just think of Lea Seydoux's character and her lines with Bond. Craig and Waltz have nothing to do and though in a meager role, Dave Bautista manages to leave a mark. The opening helicopter stunt is good and due to Mendez's direction I wasn't bored.
