Review of Spectre (2015) by Kenneth K — 12 Nov 2016
After the brilliant deconstruction of the formula we saw in Skyfall, there was really only 2 ways they could follow up, either retire the character and end the franchise or settle for a more traditional by-the-numbers Bond outing.
This is obviously the latter. As Craig's second ho-hum Bond movie, this one at least ticks all the right boxes rather than simply adhering to modern action thrillers *AHEM Quantum of Solace.
