Review of Spectre (2015) by Johnny T — 07 Feb 2016
Some of the elements are so perfectly an extension of Skyfall, from M's video tape to the connecting of the previous 3 films' villains via Spectre...but falls completely flat in the usage of Christopher Waltz and the connection to James Bond has basically zero emotional weight. Christopher Waltz, in general, is completely squandered here. Though Ralph Fiennes' M gets some fun as does Q.
So it's still pretty fun, but obviously not as much fun or as beautiful or emotional as Skyfall.
