Review of Spectre (2015) by Michael F — 03 Mar 2016
Bond's Back and he's more action packed than ever! Flawed but fun, Daniel Craig's charm and wit more than makes up for a flawed focus and an all-over-the-place narrative. Brilliant performances from Lea Seydoux, Cristoph Waltz and Dave Bautista.
Cristoph Waltz spits out every word, his voice dripping with venom, and when we see a white cat in his arms, we know what Bond is in for. While all this brilliant action is going on, the film can barely justify it's narrative with Bond formula, where as Skyfall found new light in the series, this one is a tad forgettable and not nearly as fun as Skyfall or Casino Royale.
