Review of Spectral (2016) by Bill A — 02 Jan 2017
As we start to see a crossing over from the Big Screen to the digital smaller screen, Netflix has put out a fresh science fiction cobbler to legitimately compete with SyFy's original work. Suspend some, but not all of your disbelief at the idea of ghost soldiers until you find out their origin - decent acting and a good pace couple with competent scenery, costumes and CGI to provide a very decent popcorn flick.
Microwave popcorn, that is. The only negative is the music-driven regroup-and-build-experimental-weapon scene but everyone does it (to save time) and it's no worse here than the others.
