Review of Spectral (2016) by S K — 21 Jul 2017
Whilst the set-up is interesting, the film ends up being predictable, unsatisfying and kind of unbelievable. The "science" behind the plot and the actions of characters make you question whatever reality this film is set in (because it sure isn't our universe), and although it dips into some interesting issues, never really decides to explore them.
Lots of shooty-shooty guns, though.
