Even as a Species connoisseur, I've got to say that the third installment falls a little bit flat. I have to applaud the effort, but somehow it didn't seem to have the same vitality as its predecessors.
It shames me to say this, but I have to wonder whether this movie was just made for the money. I know, I'm speaking heresy, but the thought has crossed my mind. Still, it's like the Star Wars prequels: they may disgrace the entire series, but you can't just ignore them.
