Review of Species (1995) by Cade H — 13 Feb 2010
This is a solid sci-fi horror movie. The basic plot is that the American government receive a message from deep space from a alien species on how to merge human DNA to the alien DNA to make a new species.
They make a young girl but she escapes. They send in a team to bring her back. They learn that she is trying to mate and they must stop her. This movie was decent. Has a good story and some interesting characters.
A great cast with Ben Kingsley, Michael Madsen, Alfred Molina, Natasha Henstridge, Forest Whitaker and Marg Helgenberger. The movie has great F/X and is full of death and gore. Overall this film serves its purpose in the entertainment department.
This was the best one of the entire Species series. Worth at least a one time watch.
