Review of Special Forces (2011) by Jessica P — 22 Aug 2012
Slickly made above average war movie. Nice performances all round and the action scenes are well choreographed but the repetitive 'rock' music intros to each battle scene are annoyingly unnecessary.
It reminded me of 'Platoon' (especially the scene involving the demise of the sniper), and a British SAS movie titled 'The One That Got Away' depicting Chris Ryan's escape to Syria from Iraq in 1991.
The movie has an interesting mix of English and French languages. Nice to see somebody other than Americans .fighting the fight'.
