Review of Special (1967) by Michael T — 12 Jan 2013

This rating is based on the fact I was forced to watch this with constant distractions (fatherhood) but I was quite impressed with the concept. It's an entertaining indie film about a guy who thinks that some pills have given him super powers.

Michael Rapaport does a great job making you feel sympathetic towards his misguided sense of magical abilities. The storyline involving shady medical suits is also pretty good and at only 82 minutes it hardly out stays it's welcome.

If I watched this again with full attention I could see this getting a higher mark.
