Review of Spawn (1997) by Name G — 27 Feb 2011
Spawn is'nt a bad adaptation. I thought it was a decent movie. Michael Jai White does a good job as the title character, the visual effects and special effects were good, the story was good, and the character, "Spawn", was a cool character. Also, Clown (A.K.A. The Violator) was pretty funny at times.
The problem's I have with this movie is the character development. The villains, "The Violator" and Jason Wynn, were weak. Also, "The Violator", is very annoying. Also, there was'nt that much development for the character, "Cogliostro". We just see him mentoring Spawn and at the ending. Plus, there was no point of using the character, Zack. All he did was, help find Spawn's pet dog. Also, there was'nt that many action scene's. But they were okay. Overall, It's not as great as, "The Dark Knight", "Iron Man" or "Spider-Man". But it's still a decent comic-book movie.
3/5.
