Review of Spartan (2004) by David L — 11 Nov 2007
David Mamet is always surprising as is Val Kilmer and this movie. It's a tense, taut thriller with a superb performance from Kilmer. Exceedingly fast paced, perhaps slightly marred by the need for twists and turns.
But nevertheless a griping and edgy flick. Like watching a whole series of 24 condensed down into 107 minutes.
