Review of Sparkle (2012) by Percevial M — 26 Aug 2012
The storyline was changed a bit from the original film released in 1976. I wasn't blown away by the entire film, but I think Ms. Houston, Jordin Sparks and Derek Luke gave solid performances in this remake.
I also think Sparks is a really special performer and is talented beyond what she appears to be.
