It should have been called "Sister" not Sparkle since I felt most of the movie was about her sister and not Jordin. Jordin over-acted most of her scenes. But overall it wasn't boring just expected! The woman who played Sister (Carmen) did an excellent job though! Whitney did great as well her one singing part wasn't too good though.
I expected a nice ballot from her didn't get it, super sad since this was her last movie.
