I love Sparkle. It was better than Dreamgirls.
They should have remade this movie.
More emotional and compelling.
They were remaking this film with Aaliyah as the star.
When I was an actor,.
I wanted the star in the remake, in role of Stix/Sticks.
Originally played by Philip Michael Thomas.
When Aaliyah passed, I lost interest.
Also, the film was no longer going to be made.
Lonette McKee also did it up as Sister.
She was great!
It was good to see her again in Malcolm X, He Got Game,.
And ATL.
The love story between Irene Cara's character.
And Philip Michael Thomas' character is romantic.
