Review of Spanglish (2004) by Alex G — 02 Feb 2010
Let me start off by saying, it is not one of the best movies i've seen let alone one of the best romantic comedies i've seen but...it had something all other romantic comedies are missing and that is reality.
You can't always get what you want and this movie proves it...things don't always go as planned. People are let down and tough decisions must be made.
Vega's acting is a bit off at times and her character gets annoying. However Sandler and Leoni were at the top of their game in my opinion. Humorous at times but equally as blunt at times. This movie may upset but it just goes to show that life is unpredictable and love doesn't always end happily ever after. I loved this movie for that.
