Review of Spanglish (2004) by Thomas T — 12 May 2010
This film surprised me as did Sandler's performance. I thought I was settling for mediocre film for my wife's sake, but found myself enjoying it and really caring for the characters. The writers don't settle for conventional and tired Rom Com plot lines, nor did they feel it necessary to contrive a tidy ending.
All but one of the deleted scenes are worth watching as well.
