Review of Spaceballs (1987) by Talisencrw — 07 Dec 2014
I enjoyed seeing Spaceballs on blu, not having watched it since it hit the theatres when I was a teenager. Though unlike Brooks' masterpieces, the humour is sometimes forced here, but he's smart enough to surround himself with a fine supporting cast and making sure the special effects and set design are at least as good as, if not greater than, the original films he's lampooning.
Looking at his films shows how much better his efforts were than any genre spoofs since.
