Review of Spaceballs (1987) by Christian C — 02 Jun 2013
Mel Brooks' hilarious send-up of 'Star Wars', amongst other sci-fi gems, is an effective exercise that could easily fit into a television sketch show. The cast, mostly made up of familiar faces, has obvious fun with the material, none more so than Rick Moranis in a flawless turn as the sinister Dark Helmet.
An easy-going, laugh-out-loud bit of entertainment.
