This was like my childhood. I hate how critics look at cult or comedies like they're supposed to have the best acting in the world and amazing everything. This movie, in my opinion, is Mel Brooks's best work of art, even though every single movie he"s made is amazing in it's own way, this one's the only one I actually watched as a kid; and I loved it.
Critics, stop rating comedies like they need to be as amazing as The Godfather, It's not The Godfather!! It's a Goddamn Mel Brooks film, watch it and treat it like one!
