Review of Spaceballs (1987) by Adam B — 14 Sep 2010
Spaceballs is a 1987 American science fiction parody film co-written, directed by, and starring Mel Brooks.
This Movie is so terrible, I think for a parody film to work you must have good, practical, and funny jokes, but you also need to have a good premise and area to throw them in.
Spaceballs has an ok premise and an ok story that a parody film could work, it's the fact of the no-funny jokes that makes this a terrible movie.
Overall (aside from Rick Moranis's performance).
"SpaceBalls" is a pointless, idiotic, big bowl of unnfunny jokes, it didn't succeed in making me laugh once, and it is a waste of time.
