Review of Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021) by Captiosus — 16 Jul 2021

This movie wasted two hours of my life that I'll never get back. Overwrought CGI, cringy lines and acting, and ideas meandering all over the place. It has absolutely no charm of the original, or of Warner Bros cartoons in general.

This is what happens when the original movie came out during a WB cartoon resurgence and this one comes out just trying to grab some cash on a fan favorite brand. It feels like someone wanted to make a Space Jam movie but use the multiverse CGI from the Ready Player One movie.

LeBron might have honestly been the only decent part in the movie, because at least it felt like he was trying. But that's not saying much.
