There is a great deal of nostalgia attached to this film, which stands as an entertaining film that is cartoonish and silly. There is nothing to take seriously, and for many it feels like a film one would make for TV, but it has some laughs and from start to finish it delivers as a paperthin, substanceless film that is endlessly rewatchable.
