Review of Space Cowboys (2000) by Leo K — 02 Apr 2011
Reminiscent of 'Old Dogs' in its attempt to exemplify elderly heroes. While the plot is interesting in the beginning, it becomes slightly predictable near the middle, yet has a major twist at the end (think super-twist, yet unrealistic).
The sacrifice at the end seemed unneccesary, yet was aimed at producing an emotional effect presumably.
Well everything was ok, up until the extremely ridiculous ending (they threw the kids out the shuttle...wtf?). I would pan this movie off.
