Utter garbage. This movie is one of the worst movies that Clint Eastwood starred in, right up there with Any Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can. The story of 4 geriatrics going to space to reclaim their glory sounded bad, but having watched it I found that it was worse than I imagined.
Several things about this movie pissed me off, first of all, Donald Sutherland's character, why the hell does he have to wear shades all the time, even in space? Secondly, William Devane's portrayal of the flight director is laughable.
Lastly, and most importantly, what the hell kind of an unrealistic ending is it to have Tommy Lee Jones' character blast himself to the moon. Avoid this movie like the plague.
