While it's predictable and cliched. Space Cowboys is otherwise well directed, with outstanding performances from "The Ripe Stuff". Some parts of the first half could've been cut, but it benefits otherwise from witty humor and charm.
The other half is tense and visually thrilling, which makes for a pretty decent adventure. Worth seeing.
