Space Cowboys is actually The Wrinkled Stuff and the only noteworthy rescue is how the cast of veteran screen stars somehow manage to salvage entertainment from an arthritic and cliché-ridden script.
Eastwood oscillates between helming genuinely great pictures like The Outlaw Josey Wales and Letters from Iwo Jima to narcoleptic chewing gum like this. The special FX are notably poor for ILM. Halfhearted and a waste of space.
